Tamarind Glazed Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 3 tbsp tamarind paste
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds(optional) & cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix tamarind paste, honey, soy sauce, fish sauce, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss chicken wings in half the glaze and bake for 25-30 mins until crispy.
  4. Brush with remaining glaze and broil for 2-3 mins for extra caramelization.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro. Serve hot!
